Xiamen, China – September 8, 2026​ – On the sidelines of the 26th China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT), the “Cultural and Creative IP Investment & Going Global Exchange Meeting” concluded successfully. During the event, a landmark strategic cooperation agreement titled “Co-building a Global Trading Industry Ecosystem for Art and Cultural Property Rights Assets”​ was officially signed. The signing ceremony saw the tripartite alliance formalized by representatives from three key institutions: Mr. Olivier Grandjean, Member of the International Olympic Art Committee (IOAC); Ms. Kang Li, General Manager of the National Intellectual Property Operation (Shanghai) International Service Platform; Mr. Li Donglin, Chief Executive Officer of the Macau Cultural Property Exchange. The agreement aims to integrate the unique strengths of the three parties: the IOAC’s global artistic network and brand influence, the Shanghai platform’s expertise in IP valuation and operations, and Macau’s role as an international financial and cultural exchange hub. Together, they will work to establish a comprehensive global ecosystem for the trading of art and cultural property rights assets, facilitating cross-border circulation and capitalization of cultural IPs. The event also featured the release of a Valuation Model for Copyright and Cultural Digital Assets, alongside the launch of several initiatives designed to boost the international presence of Chinese cultural IPs, including the Yangtze River Delta Cultural and Creative IP Carnival and the “Sailing the Stars, Expanding into Europe” program. These efforts collectively seek to transform cultural creative IPs and digital assets into standardized, bankable assets that are recognizable, tradable, and attractive to international capital.
