COMMITTEE INTRODUCTION

The World Vocal Arts Development Committee is affiliated with the World Olymp’Arts Council (WOAC). In accordance with the Founding Charter and relevant statutes of WOAC, and guided by the vision of “Art Connects the World,” the Committee is dedicated to promoting the protection, dissemination, innovation, and exchange of vocal arts worldwide.

The Committee focuses on vocal art resources from different regions, ethnic groups, and cultural backgrounds around the world. It promotes the contemporary expression and international dissemination of traditional vocal heritage, builds platforms for transnational cooperation, and advances talent development, academic research, performance exchange, and cultural mutual learning in the field of vocal arts.

Centered on preserving cultural diversity, promoting mutual learning among civilizations, and advancing the sustainable development of vocal arts, the Committee is dedicated to building a globally influential, professionally led, and innovatively integrated platform for vocal arts development.

Core Functions

1. Protection of Cultural Heritage
To promote the systematic documentation, digital archiving, and preservation research of folk and traditional vocal arts worldwide, with particular attention to the recording, transmission, and revitalization of endangered vocal cultures.

2. International Exchange and Communication
To organize international vocal festivals, competitions, performances, forums, and cross-border exchange activities, fostering dialogue among vocal cultures from different countries and regions.

3. Artistic Innovation and Development
To encourage the integration of traditional vocal arts with technology, digital media, stage arts, and other fields, and to explore innovative forms of expression better suited to contemporary communication contexts.

4. Education and Talent Development
To collaborate with academic institutions, artistic organizations, and expert resources in promoting curriculum development, masterclasses, youth support, and international talent exchange programs.

5. Industry Research and Standards Development
To conduct academic research in the field of vocal arts, compile reference materials and industry reports, and gradually promote the establishment of relevant professional systems and international cooperation standards.

Key Development Initiatives

Global Vocal Heritage Preservation Program 
Focusing on traditional repertoires, folk vocal arts, and intangible cultural heritage resources, this program promotes the creation of digital archives, field documentation, emergency preservation of endangered projects, and the reinterpretation of classical content. 
International Vocal Performance and Competition Program 
To plan internationally influential vocal competitions, performances, and touring projects, enabling outstanding works, artists, and ensembles to reach broader stages. 
Vocal Education and Talent Support Program 
Targeting practitioners of different age groups and professional backgrounds, this program develops masterclasses, educational alliances, young artist training, and grassroots arts support initiatives. 
Global Communication and Technology Empowerment Program 
By leveraging digital platforms, artificial intelligence, visual communication, and international media partnerships, this program promotes the sharing of global vocal arts resources and cross-regional dissemination.

OPEN COOPERATION PARTNERS

The Committee welcomes global cooperation and invites the following individuals and institutions to participate: 
Individuals
Vocal artists, educators, researchers, young creators, inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, and others.

Institutions
Music academies, research institutions, choirs, artistic ensembles, art organizations, cultural communication agencies, technology platforms, and others.

Honorary Partners
Individuals or organizations that have made active contributions to the protection, inheritance, and development of vocal arts worldwide.

世界声乐艺术发展委员会隶属于国际奥艺委,遵循国际奥艺委《创始宪章》及相关章程,以“艺术,连接世界”为理念,致力于推动全球声乐艺术的保护、传播、创新与交流。
委员会聚焦全球不同地域、民族与文化背景下的声乐艺术资源,推动传统声乐遗产的当代表达与国际传播,搭建跨国合作平台,促进声乐人才培养、学术研究、展演交流与文化互鉴。

围绕传统曲目、民间声乐与非遗资源,推动数字档案建设、田野记录、濒危项目抢救与经典内容再创作。

国际声乐展演与赛事计划
策划具有国际传播力的声乐赛事、展演与巡演项目,推动优秀作品、艺术家与团体走向更广阔的舞台。

声乐教育与人才支持计划
面向不同年龄层与专业背景的从业者,开展大师课、教育联盟、青年艺术家培养及基层艺术扶持项目。
